Order Instructions
COLORS
A selection of 25 standard opaque colors are available at no extra
cost - refer to color chart, Any color other than what is on the
standard color chart (which requires color match) will cost $48.00
per color, per run. EXACT color match cannot be guaranteed including
PMS. We offer 8 standard transparent colors for reflective signs
or decals, any other transparent color will require a color match
charge of $48.00 per color, per run. Metallic gold or silver inks
printed on either decals or plastic signs require a lamination /
clear-coat.
SQUARES AND RECTANGLES
Minimum printed border to the edge is 3/16" wide, otherwise
a die is required. The minimum size dimension in any direction for
decals is 1 1/2", otherwise a die is required - Specify round
or square corners, round corner sizes are 1/8", 1/4",
3/8", 1/2", 3/4" or 1".
NOTE: ALL ALUMINUM SIGNS ARE ROUND CORNERED 1/8" UNLESS SPECIFIED.
DIE CUT SHAPES
A variety of stock shapes are available for various products listed.
Custom shapes require a one time die charge. Decals -$120 to $200.
Signs - $140 to $200. Contact factory for exact quote - prices vary
based on complexity and size of the shape.
DECAL MATERIALS
Outside decals are available with other base materials at no extra
cost. Yellow vinyl, chrome silver, matte silver, brushed silver.
DECAL LAMINATION
GLOSS MYLAR lamination can be added to protect the
surface from abrasion and window washing chemicals. It adds approximately
1 to 2 years to the life of the decal. Two-way decals that are to
be applied on the outside of windows must be laminated.
TUF-COTE lamination has a semi-gloss appearance that
adds the same surface protection as mylar, but with a life up to
7 years.
ART PREPARATION
Art is charged at $60 per hour - Pro-rated for the actual time spent on your layout. There will be a one time film charge of $48.00, whether our art department lays out the art or is computer generated by the customer. Please supply a rough sketch or drawing, or use the sketch area on the back of the order form. We are Mac based, however we can accept PC files in specific formats.
COMPUTER GENERATED ARTWORK Please include all fonts, pictures and a print out of your artwork. Creating outlines ensures exact type duplication. We use the following programs: Adobe Illustrator CS2 and Adobe Photoshop 7.0. These programs are cross platform between Apple and IBM compatible computers. If other programs are used, the following file formats may be used and can possibly be opened by our computer: AI, EPS, PDF, and JPEG.
If your sent artwork does not meet this criteria additional art charges may apply.
DELIVERY
First order normally takes 3 to 4 weeks. Allow 5 days maximum for
your proof. After proof is approved allow 15 to 20 working days
for production and 2 to 6 days for regular UPS shipping. For re-orders
allow 10 to 15 days for production and 2 to 6 days for regular UPS
shipping. OVER RUNS or under runs of 10% of order
quantity are considered an acceptable delivery, unless other arrangements
are made at placement of order. We normally ship UPS ground unless
otherwise requested.
PAYMENT TERMS
Credit Card - J.C. Gury accepts both Visa and Mastercard. The card
is charged at the time the order is placed. Any adjustments to quantity
or freight costs will be adjusted at the time of shipment.
Check - We accept company or personal checks for the full amount
of the order, when the order is placed.
We do not accept C.O.D.
CANCELLATION
Cancellation of an order for any reason, will result in a minimum
charge of $50.00. The actual cancellation fee will be based on how
far into production the order is.
